I couldn’t go to Singapore at the recent ICC meeting, because …: Mohsin Naqvi

The International Cricket Council (ICC) recently hosted its first annual general meeting (AGM) under the leadership of the new President Jay Shah in Singapore.

Mohsin Naqvi jumped the four -day meeting, and it was an important surprise for many, with many believing that the PCB chief has boycotted the CPI.

Speaking after the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Asian Cricket Council (ACC) in Dhaka, Mohsin Naqvi revealed that he could not attend the CPI meeting because he was stuck to a busy schedule.

“ Several countries couldn’t come to Dhaka. It happens each time. I couldn’t go to Singapore (at the recent ICC meeting). Since I was hooked. It’s a normal thing. Most people have come. Many people can’t come because of their calendar. The point is good for ACC and BCB is that all 25 members participate in today’s meeting.

“It’s more ACC and BCCI. I have a great hope that we will solve the pending problem and we will also have the Asia Cup,” said Mohsin Naqvi in an official statement.

Above all, Cricket Control Council officials in India (BCCI) did not travel to Dhaka for the ACC meeting for security reasons and attended online.

“The way we take care of us, we had two incredible days. It was very memorable and in the name of the ACC, I would like to thank the way they have organized everything. The last is that we have all decided to work for Cricket. None of us wants politics within any of our organizations and that it was a very good meeting in a very good atmosphere. I hope we will continue to meet -as in the future.
