Team India Pace diaper, Mohammed Siraj, has broken his silence for being abandoned from the ICC 2025 Champions Trophy. The Gujat Titans Pealer (GT) admitted that he was unable to digest after winning his second consecutive game in the IPL 2025 season.
The selectors passed by Mohammed Siraj, despite the fact that Jasprit Bumrah was ruled out of the Trophy of Champions due to injuries. India went with Mohammed Shami, Arshdeep Singh and Harshit Rana. It is worth noting that the team led by Rohit Sharma was unbeaten and raised the title of the champions trophy.
Mohammed Siraj tilted a burning spell for Gujarat titans against the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) on Sunday, April 6. He dismantled the Hiderabad Battle Line with figures of 4 for 17, the best in the history of the IPL.
The 31 -year -old Speedster, who had previously collected three doctors against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), was appointed game player for the second consecutive game. He accredited his family’s presence on his home ground to push his confidence.
Siraj was acquired by Gujarat Titans for $ 12.25 at the IPL 2025 auction and justified its price with the winning spells of the party. It is the second wick head of the tournament, with nine wicks in four games to an average of 13.78 and a 7.75 economy rate.
Mohammed Siraj said he could not digest that he could not digest the Trophy Trophy template. Gujarat Titans Pacer said he focused on improving his physical fitness and mentality after disappointment.
“When you come to your house, it’s a special feeling. My family was there in the crowd and that raised me,” Siraj said (through Hindustan Times).
“I have played for seven years in RCB. I have worked hard on my bowls and also in my mind, it works well. At the same time, I could not digest it -not being chosen for the Champions League trophy), but I kept my spirit and worked in my physical fitness and my game,” he added.
Mohammed Siraj said he corrected his past mistakes and now enjoys his rhythm of bowling. He also stated that not being selected made him question his performance.
“Any mistake I made, I worked on these and I am enjoying my bowls,” added Siraj.
“As a professional, when you are constantly with the Indian team, a doubt is growing in your mind (about it dropped), but I encouraged and waited for the IPL,” he continued.
“When you are not selected (for the Indian team), cross your mind (if you are good enough). But I wanted to be ready for the IPL. When you execute what you are trying to deliver, you stay at the top. When you move the ball inside and out and it works instinctively, it gives you a different feeling.”
Gujarat titans pursued the 153 -year target in only 16.4 points, achieving a victory of seven Wicket. Captain Shubman Gill anchored the tickets and guided his team at home with a 61 unbeaten.
