The fast diaper Mohammed Siraj, who is currently part of the Indian squad for the five -game test series against England, has made his first step towards business beyond Cricket field. Siraj launched his restaurant, Joharfa, in the heart of the city of Hiderabad to explore companies in the food sector.
Mohammed Siraj had a disappointing outlet in the first test against England in Leeds. The Pealer took only two doctors from the party, which India lost by five doctors. “Joharfa is very close to my heart. Hyderabad gave me my identity, and this restaurant is my way to return something to a place where people can gather, share a meal and enjoy flavors that feel at home,” Siraj stated in a statement.
Joharfa shows Hyderabad’s culture through its elegant interior design. Joharfa’s menu includes HIDERABADI DELIPATIONS signed such as Biryani, Haleem and Kebabs, along with dishes such as the Tikka of Chicken Tikka and Mountain Parathas.
Out of Mohammed Siraj and Kohli’s field extends to the restaurant business
Siraj shares a strong bond with Kohli, having played together for both the Indian national team and the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the IPL. Over the years, Kohli has often been seen mentoring the young Pealer both in the countryside and off the field.
Above all, both cricketers also share a connection beyond the cricket, the restaurant business. While Siraj recently launched his first restaurant, Joharfa, in Hyderabad, Kohli had previously ventured into the food industry with his chain, One8 Common.
The Kohli brand started in Delhi and has since expanded to cities such as Mumbai, Kolkata, Pune and Hyderabad. One8 Community is known for its elegant interior, global cuisine and cricket theme that reflects Kohli’s personality.
Mohammed Siraj practices battle skills ahead of the second test
India’s lower order fought in the first test against England in Leeds, without any of the batters lower than number 7 reaching two digits. Mohammed Siraj remained unbeaten in three in the first entrances, but was fired by a golden duck in the second by Josh Tongue.
