Mohammad Kaif has come out in teams due to the growing trend of retiring to baptisms fighting at the IPL in progress 2025. The tactic is under fire to be a movement of despair instead of strategy, and now Mohammad Kaif caused a new debate on the trend.

From Ravichandran Ashwin to Devon Conway, players retired to IPL
Prior to this season, Ravichandran Ashwin shocked everyone, becoming the first player in the IPL history to retire as a tactical movement while playing Rajasthan Royals against LuckNow Super Giants in 2022.
