Mcgee todricSecurity for Missouri State University Football Team, died. It was 21.
“On behalf of the University and our entire department, we want to express our condolences to Todric’s family, friends and fellow players,” MSU’s Director of Athletics, Patrick Ransdellsaid in Saturday, April 19, statement. “This tragedy has shaken our football program to the core, and we want them to know that we are here to support them in every way possible at this very difficult time.”
According to the university’s statement, McGee died earlier on Saturday after being injured at his home. He was taken to a local hospital late Friday, April 18, and underwent emergency surgery. More details, including the cause of death, have not yet been revealed.
McGee was higher fifth in MSU and was a member of the bear football team. He was the initial security for seasons 2023 and 2024.

Later, a representative of Springfield Police told the Springfield News Leader Those officers responded to a welfare check at McGee House on Friday. The athlete is alleged to have been found with a “accidental self-infrared gun wound.” An investigation into the death of McGee is ongoing.
Before attending MSU, McGee played a football for the Wichita Northwest High School team.
