The composer of the mission, which rewards Grammy: the impossible topic, Lalo Shifrin, died at the age of 93, announced his family.
Argentine music son Ryan Shifrin confirmed that his father had died of pneumonia complications on Thursday, in a statement shared with a BBC partner CBS.
Cifrin was known for its unique strike and jazz style during a career, which covered more than six decades, with more than 100 filmmakers and television soundtrack to his name.
He was nominated for six Oscars and won four Grammys, three of which were for his most famous theme for the mission: the impossible series in 1966, which later updated Tom Cruise’s franchise.
Shifrin’s family stated that “peacefully” surrounded by loved ones and thanked the society for moving support reports.
The Academy of Cinema and Sciences paid tribute to the musical “brilliant” compositions that “created tension, lit adrenaline and gave stories of their pulse.”
“We will forever remember the composer who turned each blow into sharp sensations, and every silence into tension,” the message on X.
A fruitful artist – composer, pianist and conductor – was a consistent nominee in “Oscar” with ports for films such as “Sting II”, “The Cool Hand of Luke”, “Amini Horror” and “Dirty Harry”.
In 2018, Shifrin received an honorary lifelong achievement of Oscar, who presented the dirty Harry Kid Clint Eastwood, who welcomed his “unique musical style, its compositional integrity and influential contribution to the art of the film.”
Honor, Argentine musician said that the film’s composition gave him “Life of Joy and Creativity”, and the award became “the culmination of the dream.”
“This is a mission: fulfilled,” he said at the time.
Schiffrine, born in a music family in Buenos -Aires, studied a classic piano as a child before moving to Paris in the early 20’s to play jazz -later sharing a stage with famous artists such as Dizzy Gillespie, Ella Fitzgerald and Count Basie.
After moving to America, he began to write for Hollywood from the eccentric mixture of musical genres, including jazz, classic, modern and pop.
His most unforgettable melody for the mission: it was impossible to write an unusual 5/4 temporary signature and, he said, was intended for the introduction of “small humor, ease” to form a topic “that did not perceive itself too seriously.”
The result was a global worm, which presented one of the most successful film franchise, with the latest mission of iteration: it is impossible – the final crossing of $ 540 million (393 million pounds) worldwide.
