Over the years, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association has chosen a celebrity’s child to carry the torch into awards season and assist with the annual event. Golden Globe Awards.
The coveted title of Miss and Mr dating back to 1963 when Donna Douglas and Eva Six shared the honour. However, the tradition of the role going to a famous child did not begin until 1971 with Anne Archerwho went on to become a successful actress in her own right.
Being Miss or Mr. Golden Globes — or the Golden Globes Ambassador as it was changed to in 2018 — includes a few responsibilities in the show. Throughout the event, the ambassador assists the presenters in handing out awards and escort the winners from the stage.
Although many stars have held the role over the years, the ambassador program ended in 2021.
