Miley Cyrus Album Review ‘Something Beautiful’

Miley Cyrus Isn’t there anything to prove, but when has that ever been stopped?

The chameleonic pop star is back with her most bold album yet, Something beautiful (out now on Columbia records). It is more bodancious than Bangerz and, at times, even wackier no Miley Cyrus and his Petz Diedwhich is a sport in itself.

But the singer, 32, does not go balls to the wall just for kicks; She has an innate instinct to challenge herself, to keep her supporters on their feet and to celebrate the myths that prepared the road.

This time around, Cyrus takes him back to the late ’70s and early 80sRe -inventing an everlasting age defined by bright Europop and operatic psychedelia. She goes full abba on “End of the World,” luxurious worms that would be the summer song after Lady gaga not full Disenfranchise with viable candidates, and make a dynamo disco Summer Donna proudly “every girl you’ve ever loved,” on which supermodel Naomi Campbell presents a delicious speech camero that recalls Mad‘s “vogue.”

Not all Something beautiful Radio friendly, though-Cyrus, the manufacturer, needs to hit behind “flowers,” “wrecking ball,” “party in the usa” and so much other global cutting, to cater for anyone at this point in her career. (Also, who is still listening to the radio in 2025?)

The title track begins as a slinky ballad, a soul before exploding to their experimental rock chorus with deafening and distorted voices. This is the most shrinking thing to come out of the smarter’s mouth since Her Days Empty Tongue But, fortunately, just a moment of madness.

The back of the album is where Cyrus actually shines. The gap nearly six minutes “reborn” swells and swells and swells until it can’t get bigger, and the stunner even longer “Walk of Fame” is the biggest dance cut in its wide catalog undoubtedly.

It took nearly two decades for the recording academy Give Cyrus his first Grammy (Justice for 2020s Plastic hearts!), But with an album like Something beautiful Putting her in the same conversation with big pop, she may want to make a little more space on her reward shelf.
