Arsenal’s manager Mikel Arteta emphasized the importance of in-depth force, as the Gunners won the 3-0 winners on the Nottingham Forest amid injuries to several key players.
Bukayo Saka and Kai Haviertz were already left out before the launch on Saturday, but Captain Martin Odegaard was soon forced to the emirates soon.
However, Saka Undersudy Noni Madueke, fresh of scoring his first goal from England against Serbia in Middle Week, produced a dazzling exhibition as a goal by Martin Zubimendi and Viktor Gyokeres ensured a miserable start to life in the forest for the new head postcoglou head.
The game also saw an impressive demonstration of Ebechi Eze, which in its full debut in the arsenal colors provided attendance for gyokeras, as Arteta flexed the attacking muscle of its workforce in a comfortable first equipment after the international pause.
“After the international break when players have been out for a long time, it is always a question sign on how they will react, how they will be raised and connected,” Artea told TNT Sports.
“I think the team did this. A clean sheet and some players start for the first time and had great performances so well.”
Zubimendi scored the arsenal on the road to victory with his first goal of Gunners: a volley sublime of the first half that flew in the upper corner and gave the goalkeeper of Forest Matz Sels without any possibility.
And Arteta greeted the impact of his compatriot since he joined the royal society in the summer, as well as the contributions of Madueke, Eze and Gyokeres.
“It is (zubimendi) to the club and you feel this real presence, this real authority with everything it does in this pitch. If you can contribute to the goals, what else can we ask?
“The three (Madueke, Eze and Gyokeras) complement each other. Noni was again excellent, it looks like a real threat. Viktor is very smart and EBS offers something as a different type of flow, different connections and very unpredictable.
“This is what we want. When you look at other clubs and the teams they have built, we are all the same as we want to compete at the highest level.
“We have already lost kai (Hapertz) for three or four months, we also lost Bukayo (Saka) and need these replacements. The Premier League is so hard.”
The head of Arsenal hopes that Odegaard will return on time for the trip to the Atlético Club the game of the Champions League on Tuesday.
The Gunners travel to the Basque Country, the place of the birth of Arteta, full of confidence after winning three of their four Premier League games.
