Valerie Bertinelli‘S ex Mike Goodnough apologizes for a social media post for his previous relationship.
In shared mail through Instagram On Saturday, April 19, Goodnough addressed the previous week about his previous relationship with Bertinelli, 64.
“I regret that I had posted it. I wish I hadn’t been. The issue it was dealt with was real. My job got worse rather than better,” he wrote. “Valerie and I had a complex relationship. Our time as a couple ended months ago but our close -up recently ended recently. So it’s ‘fresh’ than it would appear.”
Goodnough went on to list the “external” things he claims to have “gone on the road” from their relationship, but noted that “one thing that was never a problem was our love for each other.” He described “dissolution (their) relationship” as “by far the most painful experience of my life.”
“It’s been so exciting, it has changed the scale of how much heartbreaking can completely hurt,” he continued. “Over the past few months, I had hoped that we would find a way to share light rather than a closed door but I couldn’t seem to get us to one. I reached out again this week in that hope. There is no answer in answer nevertheless. I accept it.”
Goodnough concluded, “With that said, this chapter is now closed to me. I will have nothing else to say about it – and nothing I have to say about it. I’ve cried about this enough. It’s time to move on.”
Earlier this month, Goodnough took to social media to deny a fan guess that he and Bertinelli had been feudal and communicated with each other through social media.
“I do not communicate with Valerie through my posts,” he wrote in his April 1 post. “I am not engaging with the things she posts. Although I am disappointed in the variety of hostile, dishonest, and not called for back swips that she continues to take to me, there is no war between us. She will not stop shooting.
US WeeklHe won the outbreak to the Bertinelli representative for comments at the time.
The couple publicly went with their relative in April 2024. Although reported in November of that year, Bertinelli and Goodnough had split, they first addressed their breakdown in March.
“I have changed me irrevocably for the better,” said Bertinelli through Instagram at the time. “I know I’m becoming a much stronger and kinder man because I met him and spent time with him.”
He continued, “Before I had the pleasure of meeting Mike, I was attracted to start and immediately to his writing. He’s hearty, authentic, clever, funny, sensitive, caring, and of the soul. And the way he puts words together just sooo sooo is lovely laughter.”
