London Metropolitan Police confirmed in a press release On Friday, July 25, that ward faces two counts of rape and three counts of sexual assault in relation to an alleged crime against a woman in January 2023.

“Our specialist officers continue to support the woman who has come forward – we know that investigations into this nature can have a significant impact on reporters,” he said Scott WareMetropolitan Police Detective Superintendent.

Ward, 28, has been ordered to attend a hearing at Thames Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, August 28, where he will have the opportunity to formally address the charges.

The Best boy Alum denied the misbehavior allegations, saying in a statement on July 25 to Sky News: “I recognize that there is now a case, and I have full faith that they will lead to clearing my name.”
