The Anderson-Tendulkar trophy in progress is open with the victory of 336 India on England in Edgbaston in the second test, but Michael Vaughan refuses to go back. Even after witnessing the victory of India’s biggest test, Michael Vaughan has supported his audacious 3-1 prediction in favor of England in the ongoing five-game test series.
The Indian cricket team led by Shubman Gill bounced off his loss of five woods in England in the first test in Headingley in the story of the script in Edgbaston. Gill’s smart leadership, along with the two centuries, and then the burning spells of Akash Deep and Mohammed Siraj, handed a massive shock to England on a pitch that offered little to the Edgbaston bowls in the second test.
India’s unilateral demolition has stunned the cricket world, but Vaughan remains challenging, duplicating in his prediction. The former Captain of England still hopes that Ben Stokes and his team will be able to overcome the Indian team in the series of five-game tests with a margin of 3-1.

The well-known commentator believes that Shubman Gill and his team cannot win another game at the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy in progress, supporting England to win at least two of the remaining three games to lift the trophy with a margin of 3-1 at home.
After the Edgbaston test, Michael Vaughan published in his X (before Twitter): “India has been too good this week … Highlighted performance … My prediction is still alive … 3-1 England … #engvsind”

In the meantime, Vaughan criticized the England Cricket team for returning in his old habits after his strong defeat in India in Edgbaston. He said that after a smart victory in Headingley, England seemed to have found a balance in his aggressive style.
Vaughan wrote in his column for The Telegraph: “This team has given us so much joy for the last three years, and they can do great things over the next six months. After Headingley, it seemed that they had improved and called it Bazball with brains.”

The former Captain feels that England overlooked the role of luck in Headingley’s victory, where the poor capture of India helped them to gain control. English also admitted that India dominated England during the second test.
He added: “This week, they returned to their old ways.
In the end, Vaughan has raised his concern about the mentality of England, saying that his victory in the first test may have deceived the hosts against India. He thinks they repeated the same tactics at Edgbaston and went back against a dominant Indian side led by Shubman Gill.
Vaughan was signed by saying: “It was a performance that worried me a lot. I am afraid that they used the first game as an absolute evidence of how to play a test cricket. They showed a great ability in this victory, but there was also a lot of fortune. They appeared here and they thought they should do everything in the same way and they have gone back.”
