The ancient captains of England, Michael Vaughan and Kevin Pietersen, are in Loggerheads about the debate on whether the trial cricket has become easier in modern times. Kevin Pietersen recently said that the shake on the test cricket was much tougher 20 to 25 years ago than now.
The old batter of England also shared a long list of big bowls in the past, such as Shoaib Akhtar, Wasim Akram, Shane Warne, Matiah Muralitaran, Glenn McGrath and many others. And Piersen asked the fans to find even ten current bowls that can coincide with their ability and threat.
Kevin Pietersen published in X: “Waqar (Younis), Shoaib (Akhtar), (Wasim) Akram, (Saqlain) Mushtaq, (Anil) Kumble, (Javagal) Srininh, Harbhajan (Singh), (Allan) Donald, (Shaun) Pollock, (Lance) Klusse Gough, (Dren) Gough, (Dren) Gough, (Dren) Gough, (Dren) Gough, (Dren) Gough) (Glenn) McGrath, (Brett) Lee,
Your daily dose of cricket!
“(Shane) Warne, (Jason) Gillespie, (Shane) Bond, (Daniel) Vettori, (Chris) Cairns, Chaminda Vaas, Muttiah Murali (Tharan), Curtley (Ambrose), Courtney (Walsh), and the list could go and about … I have called 22 years.

But Michael Vaughan disagreed at all and launched a strong counterattack in Pietersen on live television. Vaughan completely rejected Piersen’s claims and defended the quality and competitiveness of the modern test cricket. He thinks the struggle in the test cricket is still very difficult today.
He pointed out the world -class rhythm attacks of the present age, highlighting the impressive Indian rhythm attack with Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj and the dangerous Trio of Australia by Mitchell Starc, Pat Cummins and Josh Hazlewood, who believes that they are among the best produced.
Even Vaughan also praised the lethal couple in South -Africa of Kagiso Rabada and Marco Jansen, as well as the consistent threats representing Tim Southee and Trent Bulfros in New Zealand.
Michael Vaughan told Sony Sports Network: “ I think he is talking about nonsense. I have looked closely for the last six or seven years. Look at Indian seams now; they are as good as they were ever. Look at the Australian attack; that trio that Australia had is as good as they had. South -Africa, Rabada and Jansen. He goes to New Zealand, Southee.
Vaughan said the test cricket has been very exciting and competitive in recent years. He also mentioned that the current batters play more with more aggression than before, and that does not mean that the game is easier, but the players are bravest and risk more against smart and dangerous bowls.
The English further explained: “ I have loved the last years of trial party cricket because it has been competitive. I think in this time of beat, I do not think it has been easier than any other age. I think there are some wonderful bowls around. You still have to score.
In addition, Vaughan has made it clear that the performances of modern players should be respected and that credit should not be taken out of them just because they play differently than before.
It was signed by saying, “Don’t take away anything from the current players. Look at how they have christened. They have rejected much more aggression than the previous times, maybe not during the time of Kevin Pietersen. I do not get anything from the runs that have been scored in recent times.”
