Famous spouse as Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones is the definition of “power couple.”
Douglas and Zeta-Jones were first introduced in 1998. “I was told that Michael Douglas wanted to meet me,” he told Larry King in 2001. “I was a little nervous because I didn’t really know what he wanted to meet me.”
In the meantime, he immediately knew that the duo would have a future together – but he was worried that a cheesy lifting line could have ruined his chances.
“I told her after about half an hour (from hanging out), ‘Did you know, I’m going to be your children’s father,” he revealed during appearance in 2016 Jonathan Ross Show. “It sounded good, and said, ‘You know, I’ve heard a lot about you and I’ve seen a lot about you, and I think it’s time to say goodnight.’”
To correct his mistake, he sent her flowers and an apology to her, which seemed to work. He offered his girlfriend in 1999 and said “I’m doing” almost a year later. They are the parents of a son, Dylan, and a daughter, Carys.
