Rohit Sharma recently announced on Instagram that he would withdraw from the test cricket and would not be available for the selection for the India Tour of England 2025.
His retirement opens the door for a new test captain to be designated, and the tastes of Shubman Gill, Jasprit Bumrah, Kl Rahul and Risaby Pant were some of the names discussed for the paper.
According to several reports, Shubman Gill seems to be the leader to take over the Indian team’s test captaincy, and it is likely that Wicketkeeper Star Wicketkeper’s Batsman will serve as a deputy.
Jasprit Bumrah, who was the deputy of Rohit Sharma in the test cricket, no longer takes a leadership role due to his fitness problems and the management of the workload.
Previously, something similar happened with Hardik Pandya, which served as Vice-Capità under Rohit Sharma in white ball cricket, but when it was time to appoint a new Captain T20i, the BCCI chose Suryakumar Yadav on Pandya because this is a cricketter.
With reports suggesting the appointment of Shubman Gill as the new Indian test captain, Michael Clarke has filed a great warning for the BCCI.
Michael Clarke said that India will miss Rohit Sharma’s services in the test cricket, especially as a captain, because he is a tactical genius.
The former Australian pattern added that replaced Rohit will be very hard for any player and the current Captain of India Hate reads the game exceptionally well.
“He is a player that any team would miss,” Clarke said, as Revsportz said. “Tactically as a captain will be very difficult to replace. He read the game exceptionally well.”
In front of India’s tour in England, Rohit has retired and Kohli has made the decision to withdraw. This means that India will have a medium -sized average order when they face the three lions.
However, this is not the only problem, as Mohammed Shami’s form and fitness has been a major concern, and he may not be in the flight to England. In addition, Mohammed Siraj has not impressed the BCCI selectors and the management of the team.
In the meantime, Michael Clarke said that the Bowling Department, Kuldeep Yadav, would be the difference in the series of five -game test series against England and would be the Indian trumpet. Stated:
“If Kuldeep plays, honestly, I think it can be the difference between the two teams. He’s barking so well.”
