Michael B. Jordan’s Gisselle Situation Causes the Sale of the City’s Fortune

Michael B. Jordan finds herself being mentioned on another Netflix real estate show – but this time because of her past situation with Selling the City‘s Gisselle Menezes Nunez.

During the first season of the Netflix series, which premiered on Friday, January 3, Eleonora Srugo she introduced her employees at Douglas Elliman to a penthouse in the Olympia Dumbo which is worth almost 20 million dollars.

“So a big, well-known buyer came in here, decided to enter into a contract to buy the flat. They asked this developer to stop building,” explained Eleonora, 37. “You know when a contract is signed – especially when a building like this isn’t finished yet – you need to wait for a certain percentage of the other units to sell to be able to close on it. That time allowed the buyers to walk away from this purchase. “

Eleonora suggested that the buyer it was “very high profile” without naming names.

“I think he’s a bit of both Jordyn (Taylor Braff) and Gisselle knows well. People still think this person is in contract and going to go ahead with the purchase,” he noted. “Even the brokerage community is not aware that this buyer for a potentially 20 million dollar apartment is out there still looking.”

In confession, Abigail Godfrey confirmed it was Jordan, 37, adding, “We all know. It is public record. Everyone knows who he is. I don’t know why we’re all talking in code.”

Eleonora encouraged her team to use the suggestion that Jordan was still in the market for a flat to their advantage. Later in the episode, Jordyn, 34, revealed she “nabbed him” as a potential client.

“I went out one night with my girlfriend and by chance we stumbled upon each other. Drinks were flowing, he let us know what his real estate needs were,” he recalled. “There were three other real estate agents in the room so I had to make sure it was ours. We bring it to the team.”

Gisselle, 34, was not thrilled with the news because of his history with Jordan.

“This client is someone I had a situation with seven years ago. But we are still in touch and we are still good friends. We’ve talked about real estate,” he told the cameras. “Jordan doesn’t even have his personal phone number. So I expected her to at least – just the bare minimum – let me know that she ran into this person. It’s girl code.”

Afterwards, the duo tried to hash out their problems in private. Gisselle started the conversation by saying that Jordyn “should have sent” her a message before connect with the actor.

“Don’t forget I’ve known this person for years too,” Jordyn fired back. “This person is a friend of mine. We have been distant friends for years. My point is that there is no personal relationship. It’s a dry and prolific business relationship, which is why this works so well.”

Jordyn argued that Gisselle was making the business deal too personal.

“To me, it wasn’t clear that you had any kind of real estate relationship. To me, it felt very personal to you. He’s confusing things,” said Jordyn, to which Gisselle replied, “He and I are just friends. There’s nothing there anymore.”

Gisselle continued: “I was upset because they had asked me to calculate numbers for them before. So I’ve had some relationship with him and his partners in that sense.”

This isn’t the first time Jordan has been brought up on a Netflix reality show. Sunset Sale‘s ‘You knew he revealed that she caught up with Jordan during season 7 of the popular series.

“We all got to talk to girls, and we sat and reset the cameras — it wasn’t a conversation that was technically (meant to be filmed). I know better and it’s my own fault. I know better,” Bre said Entertainment Tonight in November 2023. “I’ve definitely learned a lot over the last few seasons but that’s not what I was trying to be like ‘Oh, I did X, Y and Z.’ I was actually having a conversation and I had said I had a baby with my famous crush, but it didn’t work out.”

He continued: “You know, there are other things that go on in these conversations but remember, we want to put on a good show. Whatever it does, it does and whatever it doesn’t, it doesn’t. But also, that was not my intention.”

Bre play coy when asked which “age of Michael B. Jordan” her contact took place, saying, “We’re not going to get into that too much.”
