The video showed that some fans try to climb through the air holes to get entry. But this summer everything is different.

“We have set widespread measures to protect fans, players and staff,” Sheriff Miami-Deeda Corder-Stuttz said before the tournament. “Sheriff’s Miami Dede Management has every safety effort for this global event.”

The changes made over the past year mean that the fans in this tournament must go through three separate checkpoints that enclose the whole campus before approaching the stadium. The steel fence is installed around the perimeter.
