The Prosecutor General’s Office of Mexico and the Ministry of Security confirmed that the men were being transferred, saying that the transaction had been made after the US Department of Justice said it would not seek the death penalty for any of the men.

“President Trump’s main priority is to defend his homeland, and so he has taken a bold step to appoint several cartels and gangs as foreign terrorist organizations,” said the White House Deputy Socialist Anna Kelly in a statement by Fox News Digital.
