Mexican police arrest the suspect in the murder of five group members

Police in Mexico detained a man known alias M-47, whom they suspect to order the murder of members of the Grupo Fugitivo group.

The bodies of four musicians from the group and their manager were discovered on Thursday in Tamalipas, four days after the men were missing.

Their relatives reported on receiving the ransom requirements on the days after the disappearance of men.

While the abduction for redemption is not uncommon for tamalipks who read the violence, as the group members obviously lured the abandoned site with their abductors with the promise of a concert at a private party, and then killed, stunned the locals who held the actions demanding the release.

Police said they arrested the M-47 during raids for three objects in which they also confiscated drugs, weapons, cash and suspicious vehicles and detained two more suspects.

Federal officials said they suspect that the m-47 is one of the chiefs of the gang known as the “subway”, which is part of the Persian Gulf.

The Persian Gulf Cartel has its support in Tamalipas and participates in drug smuggling and migrants on the US and Mexico, as well as abductions for redemption.

It is unclear why Grupo Fugitivo members were aimed.

The singer – surviving because he was late at night – told the local media that his band was hired at a private party and gave the address.

The singer said that when he went his way to the place they were given to meet with his music colleagues, he found that the address was a Postage and no signs of the group members and their SUV.

Three days later, the band’s SUV was found abandoned a few kilometers. The trailer with their tools and sound equipment was also found in another neighboring place.

Investigators believe the five were brought to their property to the property where they were killed.

Grupo Fugitivo was known for playing Norteña Music – a genre characterized by memorable texts, which were often sung into a rhythm inspired by peas, which was aimed at criminal gangs.

They sometimes also make up songs that worry about addicts, and in the past there have been cases where singers of such songs, known as “Coridos”, threaten and even killed by rival gangs.

A total of 12 suspects were arrested in connection with the murder of Grupo Fugitivo members.
