Meghan Markle’s Kids Archie and Lili Play With Dogs in Throwback Photos

In Meghan Markle‘ an emotional tribute to late dog Guyshe included a pair of rare photos of her two children playing with the dog.

Meghan, 43, shares son Archie, 5, and daughter Lilibet, 3, with her husband, Prince Harry. They also have three dogs, one of which was recently euthanized.

“I’ve cried too many tears to count – the kind of tears that make you get in the shower with the absurd hope that the running water on your face will somehow make you stop feeling them, or pretend that they are not there,” Meghan wrote through her relaunch Instagram count Tuesday, January 7. “But they are. And that’s okay too.”

He added, “Thank you for so many years of unconditional love, my sweet Guy. You filled my life in ways you will never know.”

In tribute to Guy, Meghan uploaded a series of personal images with the canine. In one shot, Harry, 40, and Archie twinned in beanies while taking Guy (and Pula and Mamma Mia’s other dogs) for a walk in front of a horse’s pasture.

In a second image, Meghan and Lily lounge with the three puppies on picnic blankets in a backyard.

Meghan adopted rescue dog Guy in 2015 when she was living in Canada filming Suits.

“I pulled it up … and fell in love,” she gushed on Tuesday. “They referred to him as ‘the little guy’ because he was so small and frail, so I named him ‘Guy.’ And he was the best man any girl could have asked for.”

Meghan added, “He was with me in Suitswhen I got engaged, (and then married), when I became a mother. He was with me for everything: the silence, the chaos, the silence, the comfort.”

Meghan brought Guy with her when she moved to England after her marriage to Harry – and back to California when the couple left their senior royal posts in 2020. They later expanded their brood with puppies Pula and Mia.

“I’ve got three (dogs) in this house now, so we’ve got five kids basically,” Harry previously said during an October 2022 WellChild Awards conference call. “I have a black Labrador called Pula, a rescue beagle called Guy and we have another rescue beagle called Mia. Between the three of them, they were wandering around chasing the squirrels every day, but they are also emotional support dogs when they behave.”

Harry also appeared in Meghan’s post with several photos of the Duke of Sussex hugging and petting Guy.
