Steven ‘Steve’ McBee

Steve was married to Kristi for 28 years before they divorced in 2021. The Exes share four sons, Steven Jr., Jesse, Cole and Brayden. Steve created the McBee Farm & Cattle Ranch in Gallatin, Missouri, in 1998, after slowly buying land. After a large deal with his car washes fell through during season 1, Steve left the ranch.

Once he walked away, he soon followed the family’s trouble. In November 2024, Steve pleaded guilty to a multi -million dollar fraud scam using federal crop insurance. He was charged with one account of federal crop insurance fraud after he was alleged to receive the benefit of insurance -based paids based on fake totals of the family’s corn crops and soybeans in 2018. He was also charged with fraud in 2019 and 2020.

Steve was ordered to pay recovery, which will be determined by the court, as part of the plea arrangement. Steve currently faces up to 30 years in a federal prison without parole. His sentencing is scheduled for September 2025.

Steven McBee Jr.

Kristi McBee

Kristi is the mother of Steven, Cole, Jesse and Brayden. The boys welcomed during her 20 -year marriage with Steve.
