Real Madrid’s head, Carlo Ancelotti, believes that Kylian Mbappe can coincide with Cristiano Ronaldo’s legacy at the club.
The MBAPPE goals couple during the Real Madrid victory over Leganes on Leganes pushed their total to 33 in all competitions, coinciding with the legendary Portuguese icon.
This figure reflects Ronaldo’s debut season since 2009-10. Later, Ronaldo ascended to become the top scorer of Real Madrid, accumulating a total of 16 trophies, including four titles in the Champions League and two LaLiga championships.
“It’s hard to compare different players,” Angelotti said Monday. “What I can expect is that MBAPPE can achieve what Cristiano Ronaldo got to Real Madrid. I think he has the opportunity to do it. If he does, he will be a legend to Real Madrid as Cristiano Ronaldo.”
The current MBAPPE season includes 22 goals in 27 appearances in LaLiga, along with seven in the Champions League and simple goals in the King Cup, Spanish Super Cup, Super Cup and Intercontinental Cup.
The initial season of LaLiga de Ronaldo saw him scored 26 goals, which later increased to 40 in his second season, 2010-11, and finally won a peak of 48 in the 2014-15 campaign.

Currently, Real Madrid is in second place in LaLiga and is preparing to host the Real Sociedad for the second stage of its Copa del Rey semi -final Tuesday.

“Barcelona plays very beautiful football, with intensity, and Madrid plays a different football, with high quality,” added Ancelotti. “I like the two, and it’s okay. It’s hard to compare, because there are different aspects: Who presses the most? Who defends best?
“It’s also about the characteristics of the players you have. Comparisons are almost impossible, I love the way Real Madrid Play. We can improve things, some seasons are better than others.
