Jared from a subway: holding a monster Losing some points because her interviews feel like they were practiced, designed out, and used to make the story more stunning than she needed to be.
Loses points for sentimentality
The end goal for docuseries as Jared from a subway: holding a monster It is to draw any suspicion of the viewer a slider that Jared Fogle died for rights after a litany of evidence was collected to be put behind bars for distributing child pornography, and sexually engaging with underage children.
And while a damning amount of evidence is displayed throughout the series in the form of recorded phone calls and text messages setting its deepest, darkest, I felt that this series could have explicitly benefited from focusing on the evidence and subsequent trials rather than Herman to the series to extend her running time.
Is Jared from a subway: holding a monster worth your time? Absolutely. But warn, because of the way the whole saga is stretched across three episodes, it is a lot of expense to take if you are one to binge in a series that may have reached her point better with a single, detailed chapter without all the extra fluff and drama that was peppered throughout her run.
