Maxi Hughes addresses Andy Cruz to Wba Lightweight

Maxi Hughes told Matchroom that he wants to fight Andy Cruz, which is classified #4, in a Light WBA title deletion.

Hughes (28-7-2, 6 kos) is in place 5 with the WBA just below Cruz (5-0, 2 kos) and has won its last two fights since William Zepeda was detained at The fourth round on March 16.

Ring Magazine reports that Hughes is interested in fighting the 2020 Olympic Gold Medal, Andy Cruz. Cuban talent reaches the unanimous victory of ten rounds on Omar Salcido (20-2, 14 kos) last Saturday night in the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas.

Cruz, 29, stole the show of the main event struggle between Diego Pacheco and Steven Nelson with his dominant performance against Power Puncher Salcido. The scores were 99-91, 98-92 and 98-92.

The World Boxing Association will have to sanction the struggle of Cruz vs. Hughes to be a light title removal. It can be a waste of time for Cruz to go to the WBA route so that the current champion, Gervonta Davis, chooses and chooses his opposition. It is unlikely to agree to fight a talented fighter as Cruz if the AMB orders the fight.

If the WBA orders Tank Davis to fight against Cruz, he will probably ignore them and, if they try to force him, he will surely divert the belt. Andy is the opposite of the type of opposition that Davis has fought during his career.

Promoter Eddie Hearn mentioned that Cruz could travel the IBF route because Vasily Lomacheko could leave this belt soon. Raymond Muratalla vs Zaur Abdullav is expected to go after the IBF belt. #6 IBF Cruz has a better opportunity to fight for a belt with this sanctioning body.

Maxi Hughes would be completely overwhelmed against Cruz. It is not powerful, fast or equipped with the skills needed to be competitive. There is probably no one in the light division that can beat Cruz.

The tank is too limited, Keyshawn Davis already lost four times and Shakur Stevenson does not have the violation. Andy Cruz is the King without crown of the 135 -pound division.
