Matchroom has revealed today that Lewis Crocker and Paddy Donovan will fight in their remittance by the ARA vacant title Ibf Welterweight below. The date and place of the struggle are still to be announced.
Crocker vs. Donovan II: Crown IBF
The two fighters will fight for the recently unemployed IBF title who had been from Jaron ‘Boots’ Ennis.
Donovan was disqualified in the eighth round after dropping Crocker with a punch after the bell last March in Belfast, Ireland. He was a peach of a 26 -year -old Donovan’s right hand, who polished “El Croc” Crocker after the bell in the eighth.
If Crocker had raised immediately, the struggle would probably have continued, but he stayed. Who knows if it could have been recovered? The way Donovan was hit by the eighth, cannot be blamed for not wanting to go back to his feet to continue fighting.
Boxing fans react: Stirring of the room
Fans are less than enthusiastic. Donovan (14-1, 11 kos) and Crocker (21-0, 11 ko) are considered to be the British domestic level in talented and non-world-class combatants.
Some people see them as maneuvers in their current positions without facing important opposition. They see this struggle and their subsequent rankings #1 and #3 IBF as an example of movements calculated by their promoters.
The opposition they have beaten is as rare as they come. From the two past wins, they are more fighters of 50 levels in terms of classification instead of #1 and #3. They beat a lot of scrubs to build their records.
