Hundreds of thousands of people are left without power in Australia after cyclone brought wild weather to the east coast.

Communities in the southeast Queensp and South Wales (NSW) started harvesting on Sunday after a thunderstorm caused wide floods and beaten power lines and trees.

The body of a 61-year-old man was restored from a flood on Saturday, while in a separate incident, 12 soldiers were taken to the hospital after their convoy crashed on the way to rescue operations.

The thunderstorm weakened when a conclusion near Brisbane took place in Brisbane on Saturday, but Prime Minister Anthony Albonez warned locals about the sequel of wild weather and the risks of the flood on Sunday.

“The Quinealand and North New South Wales situation remains very serious out of the flood outbreak and strong wind,” Albonez said.

“It is expected that heavy rainfall, damage to the wind breaks and the impact of coastal surgery continues in the coming days.”
