“When you trust him and you follow him, then the joy of the Lord is your strength,” Roe shared in holding back tears. “Yes, it’s been difficult. I cried many times today, but I know beyond the shadow of doubt that the Lord wants me to retire. I have so much peace and joy about it.”

In June 2024, Roe first announced that he would retire after nearly 37 years with QVC. Although it is a “difficult decision” to make, the program’s host was told only Weekly US she depends on her strong faith to guide her.

Roe also received pre-tapping messages from family members and other QVC guests, who rushed up sharing their favorite memories of their coworker and mentor.
