“That was a bit shocking,” he later shared in a private interview. “It’s premature but the heart wants what it wants, and if you know, you know.”
As if it hadn’t been through enough unexpected things, Mark went on to have a private chat with David for the first time.
“I wanted to thank you for being an amazing dad for Madison,” David started by saying. “She is the woman of my dreams and I wish she was the woman who walked down the aisle. Everything happens for a reason.”

“She obviously looked at you and knew something was right there,” he explained. “I’m so happy that Madison finally found someone with whom she is comfortable and happy. You’re a great guy. I think you’re the perfect mix for her.”
