On Thursday, March 13, the Cricket Board of England and Wales (ECB) left an update of colossal injuries to the veteran Pàter Mark Wood, the veteran on the right.
The ECB confirmed that Mark Wood has successfully suffered a surgery on the knee and would be out of action for at least four months.

Mark Wood was injured during ICC Champions Trophy 2025

Mark Wood is not part of the IPL
Wood who was ruled out of the cricket for four months will have no impact on the Indian Premier League (IPL), as he is not part of any franchise in the T20 Marpa league.
He had registered at the mega auction, but could not be presented on the final list, as the Cricket Board of England and Wales (ECB) did not grant the NOC in the League.
Meanwhile, Mark Wood will work closely with the ECB’s medical team in its rehabilitation and recovery, and will aim to get up to the competitive cricket in late July 2025.
