England fast veteran diaper, Mark Wood, approaches a return from Cricket’s national team after recovering from the knee surgery that had reduced it for four months. The Fast Bowler has resumed training in the middle of the England-India tests and saw bowls on the networks, but not at all intensity.
Wood was left out for four months after the knee surgery, which suffered after suffering an injury during the loss of England against Afghanistan on the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy. He was hoping to lose the entire home test.
However, the Durham Speedster is now on the way to recovery and is hoping to return on time to play in the final stages of the ongoing test series against India.

Mark Wood saw bowling on Wednesday in England
Mark Wood saw bowls on England networks on Wednesday, but not at all intensity, according to Will Macpherson of the Telegraph. Wood will miss at least the first three test games and a decision will probably be made on his return to the fourth or fifth test, depending on his recovery.

The rhythm attack of England has faced numerous mishap. Jofra Archer was not available at the beginning of the series, but he was able to return to the Lord’s test. Gus Atkinson, formerly marked with injuries, has also joined the squad before the third game.
Brydon Cars, meanwhile, is struggling with a feet’s problem and may require rest, adding to the quick boom worries of England.
Mark Wood’s performances against India have been bewildering
Mark Wood has taken 119 doctors in 37 test games to an average of 30.42, including five five -wicket transport. However, his actions against India have been bewildering, with only nine doctors of four tests at a high average of 50.33.
Above all, five of these doctors participated in a single match at Lord’s in 2021, their only test against India in English soil.
