Mariska Hargitay had the blessings of her brothers and sisters to tell a story their mother Jayne Mansfield In a new Doco HBO – and the family cried when they all watched him first.
Appears on the episode of Thursday, June 26 of Late night with Seth Meyers, Hargitay shared new details on how she made her brothers and sisters with her plans to create her documentary, My mother janefor their late mother.
“Well, first of all, it was very sweet, because I flew out to La to go and meet them and say, ‘I want to do this. You know, I want your blessing. I don’t want to do it without your blessing,’” I remember Hargitay, 61, to Meyers. “And, of course, they were all hesitant and silent and they were like, I don’t know what this means.”
He continued: “None of them are in … you know, they don’t make movies. They’re not actors, they’re not in a show business at all. But they ended her with, ‘We trust you,’ which was amazing to hear from your brothers and sisters.”
The actress in the late 1950s had five children all: Jayne Marie Mansfield Born in 1950 and shared with the first husband Paul Mansfield. Mansfield was just 34 when he died tragically in a car accident in 1967. Hargitay, who was 3 years old, was removed from the wreck of the fatal accident. Her brothers Mickey Jr. and Zoltán also traveled by car during the incident.

“I again flew out to show them, and we got this private screening. And it was one of the highlights of my life, really,” he said on the talk show.
The actress added, “And there were four seats across, and so with one brother, then my sister, me, and my other brother, and within 10 minutes in, the four of us were sitting in two seats.
