Feels like the worst year is always the one you are in
Have not heard Hallelujah but I have not been listening
I have looked at all directions for a good way to climb out
My reflection may be the only one that can help me now
A little change of weather
Will cure it
When at last he will feel like water in the desert
Yes i know gon ‘gon’ come
Preaching to a choir of one
It has taken me a while I will get there soon
Yes i had friends around
Enough hands caught out
But I’m still the one who has to choose
To carry me through
Carry me through
I never let ’em see me because I am a prisoner to pride
Nobody has been too busy, they’ve been here the whole damn time
A sweeter side calls
And love was never lost
Just wait for my feet to finally come across it even if I crawl
Yes i know gon ‘gon’ come
Preaching to a choir of one
It has taken me a while I will get there soon
Yes i got friends around
Enough hands caught out
But I’m still the one who has to choose
To carry me through
Carry me through
Yes i know gon ‘gon’ come
Preaching to a choir of one
It has taken me a while but I will get there
I’ll get there
Yes i got friends around
Enough hands caught out
But I’m still the one who has to choose
To carry me through
Yes
I’ll get there, I’ll get there, I’ll get there
To carry me through
