Manchester United can still rescue its season with a deep career at FA CUP and overcome Fulham would reserve its place in the quarterfinals.
The Red Devils won a tough victory against the Ipswich Rellegation rivals on Wednesday night, despite having dropped up to 10 men for the second half.
Titular coach Ruben Amorim will expect to see his side based on the result and show some character, as they welcome a much tougher opponent to Old Trafford.
Another motivator of the squad will be that winning the domestic cup is a route to Europe, especially without any possibility to do it through the classification of the league.
However, the Fulham of Marco Silva is a much improved side last season and remains hunting for a place in the Champions League.
They are currently ninth at the Premier League, but they have not reached a Cup final in 50 years, probably a major motivator for the contributors.
There is no doubt that they will seriously make their journey to the north -west and that they are more than capable of disturbing the giants who fall.
As has been the case for some time, United has no key players.
Luke Shaw, Kobbie Minoo, Mason Mount, Amad Diallo, Lisandro Martinez and Jonny Evans remain outside with injuries.
Patrick Dorgu has been added to the list not available after being sent against Ipswich and will serve the first of his three -party ban.
Amorim and Alejandro Garnacho seemed to have a little problem with others after their early replacement against the tractor boys, and if this game begins it is still in the debate.
For Fulham, Sasa Lukic will be available despite collecting its tenth yellow card, as this ban is applied only to the Premier League.
But cottagers still do not have Kenny Tete, Harry Wilson or Reiss Nelson, who have long -term injuries.
Emile Smith Rowe also took a recent ankle, making the last game lost against the wolves.
A unique feat in the #Pl 👊@Harryguire93 🤝 @Mdigt_04 #Murnc
