Manchester City has re -signed James Trafford of Premier League Newcomers Burnley for 27 million pounds, despite the reports claiming the rate initially would be higher than this.

Why did Man City again sign James Trafford?
Trafford left the Etihad Stadium for the Moor grass in 2023, but City insisted on a re-signation option for its long-term potential.
With the uncertainty that still surrounds Ederson’s future, Trafford could become the city’s first choice goalkeeper.
Galatasaray has had talks with Brazil International Ederson, although the city still has to indicate if they want to sell the 31 -year -old, who has less than 12 months in his contract.

“The fact that the city has let the situation sink in the last year of its contract, it gives the player much more power when deciding what he wants to do.
“The ideal situation for me is that it stays in the city, but it is becoming increasingly likely to go.”

Trafford joined City as a 12-year-old in August 2015 and had a brief loan spell in Accrington Stanley in 2021/22 before joining Bolton Wanderers in January of that season, keeping clean sheets in each of his first four games.
He returned to Bolton the following season and kept 26 clean sheets when Wanderers reached the League Play-offs one, winning a place in the third-level team of the year.
