Mallory is a frontman on the Chicago Red Stars football team, who landed a place on the US Women’s squad in the 2024 Paris Olympics. Meanwhile, Dansby plays a brief role for the Chicago Cubs baseball team.
“(Mallory is) obviously my human,” said Dansby Stadium During the March 2023 interview. “She’s my best friend, my wife. I love everything about her. She brings so much good in me.”
At the time he continued, “It only brings so much comfort around it, and so, being able to be around each other and bring those kinds of things out of each other is going to be so often.”

Mallory has long been proud of the Dansby career, attending his MLB games when he can.
“This guy here. He inspires me every day. Yeah, he’s a great baseball player but if anyone knows he’s an even better person,” he wrote through Instagram in November. “It helps me live out my faith in Jesus. God’s plan for him has not been easy. The game of baseball has been driven crazy at times but the same thing he always goes back to is our Savior.”
He added, “The faith and trust in God during trials in a season that most people do not see. He becomes a man to whom God made him. And finally, he gives all the glory to God.”

Mallory scored the goal that won the game in the women’s football Olympic tournament, helping the US team walk away with the gold medal.
“God is so good. Always and forever. You are such an inspiration to so many, but more for me than anyone can ever coin,” gushed dansby through Instagram. “Your faith in God’s plan, thanksgiving in life, the grace and joy you live and play in, the perseverance to fight through whatever obstacles were thrown your way.
