New York Yankees nervously expect the results of a magnetic resonance imaging at the right side of Star Slugger Aaron Judge.
The judge remained out of the Saturday’s crash line with Philadelphia after injuring the joint in Tuesday’s game in Toronto.
He played for Friday’s defeat against Phillies, but experienced discomfort when trying to throw the ball from the field. Doctor Christopher Ahmad must see the result of the exploration.
Yankees manager Aaron Boone told journalists: “It was more about throwing (Friday) at night. Like, he couldn’t really get the ball very well.
“So we felt like making the picture and put our hands on what we treat exactly.
“He had the release in Toronto, where he only hurt him, but he felt good to go the day off. Then (Friday) at night, however, it was just a struggle to launch a bit. So we wanted to do it.
“It is obviously a concern, but we will wait and see.”
If the judge lost a significant time, it would be a major blow to the fallen Yankees, which are 14-22 since June 13 and now 5.5 games behind the Blue Jays in the American East League.
The 33 -year -old young man is the leader to win a third prize at the MVP after beating 37 raised at home with an average of .342.
Boone was not willing to speculate as a potential injury could alter the Yankees approach before Thursday’s commercial period.
He said, “I mean, now we make speculation. What I want (to know) is what we have here and then what is the course of the action?
