Maguire admits that the UTD Europa League man wins the “strangest” play he has ever played

Harry Maguire described Manchester United’s 5-4 victory over Lyon as the strangest match of his football career.

The game at Old Trafford, who won the United States passage in the semifinals of the Europa League 7-6 as a whole, even left the center of the experienced center.

Rayan Cherki put Lyon ahead during the additional time, and Alexandre Lacazette added another from the penalty site.

“I think they (Lyon) thought they had won, the way they were celebrating,” said Maguire. “This gave us more incentive to turn the game around.

“I’ve been here for six years and have had some great times and some bad times. I think this game summarized my time in this club, to be honest.”

Facingly, Maguire added that while the comeback was notable, United must be strengthened if they want to lift the trophy.

“I think the worst feeling was that we felt that we had thrown it, instead of losing the game at that time and how we managed to get into this situation,” he admitted. “Because it even enters the additional time to 2-2, the impulse returned with us with the shipment, we should not end in this situation.

“We have to do much better than if we want to win this competition, we cannot do it and leave it to give it around this situation.”
