Luis Enrique emotional, while PSG fans pay tribute to the Xana daughter after Triumph of the Champions League

Paris Saint-Germain fans paid tribute to Luis Enrique’s daughter with a typhoon after finally seeing his wait for his championship league team.

A 5-0 victory over Inter Milan in Munich on Saturday saw that Luis Enrique delivered the trophy that PSG has been for some time, the club became the first French side that completed the shots after winning League 1 and the coupe of France.

For Luis Enrique, he set the second step in his career, the Spanish coach who won the same feat with Barcelona in 2014-15.

A 3-1 victory over Juventus in the Champions League final saw that Barça completed the trampling that year, with the daughter of Luis Enrique, Xana, planting a flag in the central circle of Olympiastadion in Berlin after this triumph.

Xana died of bone cancer at the age of nine in 2019, and after the full -time whistle at Allianz Arena, PSG fans developed a typhoon illustrating their flag planting, but with the colors they changed to represent the victory on the French side.

Asked about this gesture, Luis Enrique replied, “It was emotional. It is beautiful that the followers would think of me and my family.

“But I don’t need to win the Champions League not even a game to think about my daughter.

“She is always with me. He leans and our family, and I feel his presence.”

Achraf Hakimi opened the score for PSG in the 12th minute before Desire Doue’s arm finished the game as a contest.

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia won 4-0 and teenage Senny Mayulu scored late to achieve a record victory, with the highest margin of victory in a European Cup final or champions league.

“My first day on the PSG campus, my Frenchman was even worse than it is today. But I said the ultimate goal for me was a coach was to fill the trophy cabinet,” said Luis Enrique.

“The only missing trophy was the Champions League. And we marked this box. We were ambitious and we did.

“It’s in the bag and tomorrow will return home with us.”
