Loveense is a mark that I avoided in my early years of magazine sex toys. It was nothing personal, but Lovense products always show up at the party with so many bells and whistles that, at least for me, it was overwhelming. I’m naturally overstimulated – my brain is always all over the place – so it doesn’t make sense that I vibe with a Lovense game.
But over time, as more pitches from Lovense came my way, I could no longer ignore them. I had to overcome my fear of my brain possibly exploding from too much technological stimulation and embrace what Lovense offers: epically fun racing. Or at least that’s exactly what I experienced the Osci 3a rabbit vibrator.
I’m not one to throw out mindless compliments, so believe me when I say the Osci 3 is out of this world. From the start, it looks like any other rabbit vibrator on the market, but looks can be deceiving. The inner arm designed for G-spot stimulation heats up to normal body temperature, making it great for when you’re solo and want body-safe silicone to feel more human than cold synthetic material.

It also has, and this is the first time I have come across such a feature, a G-spot oscillator. When activated, a circular area that’s roughly the size of a dime gives your G-spot one hell of a massage through a variety of patterns, from tapping to rippling sensations, as well as a constant stream of patternless vibrations that get astronomically more intense every time you press the button. It took me a few minutes to succumb to the enjoyment of it all because I was initially so focused on how the hell it was happening and it felt so good. It feels like you are being fingered by a fingering teacher.
None of this means that the outer arm wasn’t that much of a thrill – its job is to stimulate the clitoris, after all. It does this through different vibration patterns and intensities and, like the G-spot arm, it becomes powerful. So strong that if you have a sensitive clit, this toy, even at its lowest intensity, could be a bit much.
The Lovense app is easy to navigate despite all the features that Osci 3 offers. You don’t have to need the app to use the vibrator, but it opens a few extras. The most interesting thing is the ability to send a link to a public Lovense platform full of strangers from anywhere in the world – they can then control your vibrator. You can chat with these people or just sit back and let a random person in, say, New Zealand check your toy while you’re in bed in New York City.
