Love Island UK aum Slochan Nowacki has responded to his former girlfriend Whitney AdebayoAllegations that he made a racist comment about her skin seem “dirty.”
“It’s pretty hard to talk about,” said Lochan, 25, in a video on Saturday, August 2, a video shared through Tiktok. “About a year into my relationship with Whit, we were on a walk close to my apartment. She had had her fingertips and she was, annoying, putting her nails in my face and it was like, ‘My hands are so clean. It’s not yours.’ I was like, ‘They don’t,’ and I was annoyed that her hands were in my face.
Lochan further expanded that his attention was supposed to be a “off -the -chief” joke that Whitney, 27, claimed to interpret differently.
“He looked at me in shock and said, ‘You call me dirty?’ I was surprised by that, ”he remembered. “I felt that I was insulted that my love, which I loved (a) knows me and who knows I would never insist on something like that, calls me racist.”
Lochan added, “I’ve never called anyone’s skin dirty, and we’ll never. That, for me, is the most exciting comment.”
Lochan and Whitney meet during Love Island UK Season 10 And they were together for two years. Whitney confirmed in April that they had split.

Whitney Lochan did not mention by his name, though he repeatedly emphasized in his video apology he never meant to his words cause harm or “bad will.”
“It was a very emotional day for both of us. I found out, ‘Oh, the world is going to see the racist that you are.’ That was extremely distressed to me, ”he claimed from Whitney’s response to his alleged joke. “I love her family, I still do. I didn’t care about the public. She was more family, like, you’re going to paint this picture to (our families) that I’ve called your skin dirty when that never happened.”
Lochan also claimed he spoke to Whitney’s mother and sister about the situation at the time, and also claimed they had said they were “He knew (he wasn’t) racist.”
“It’s hard to even say these words (in this video) because it goes against how I grew up, coming from a multicultural background with my Mum in Indian and my father (being) in Scotland-English-English,” said Lochan. “It’s devastating, and I feel like ever since the cut (it’s) has been constant on -lein, whether it’s the broken post for me … or other podcasts about me. But, I’m not holding any bad will or hatred of white.”
Lochan further emphasized that he hoped that he and Whitney can “move on happily with our lives and be happy alone.”
