Lopez's goal helps the Brazilian side to win the first victory after the Meteorological Delay in the 2025 Club World Cup

Wessam Abou Ali scored his own goal and substitute Jose Manuel Lopez struck when Palmeiras ended with a drought goal in the group A Club World Cup 2025 To beat Al-Ahly for his first victory in a suspended game due to the climate in Atlanta.

Palmeiras vs al Ahly: Group a operation and work

2025 Club World Cup: Palmeiras, Ahly Fixtures

Inter Miami’s day 2 game against Porto began shortly after Palmeiras’s victory, with the series team A to be at the top of the table in four points and the three rivals at a point at the exit.

Al-Ahly returns to Metlife Stadium to face the Portuguese team on Tuesday in his final group game on Tuesday (02:00 BST), when Palmeiras is simultaneously in Miami at Hard Rock Stadium.
