Manish Pandey Rost RCB

Prior to the game, Manish Pandey, from Kolkata Knight Riders, took a brutal excavation in Royal Challengers Bengaluru. In a video that went viral on social media, Manish Pandey said “I have 49 problems, but not even a solution.”

The statement of ’49 problems’ is related to the famous entrances of April 23, 2017, when RCB was shot by only 49 against KKR in the same field. It is still the lowest score by a team in the history of the Indian Premier League.

What happened on April 23, 2017?

It was a low score game between Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bengaluru played in Eden Gardens. RCB opted for Field First and threw KKR for only 131 in the final of the tickets.

Sunil Narine provided his team a roller start, but was fired for a rapid 34 of 17 balls. However, none of the other batters could even reach the 20 mark. Peculiarly, Manish Pandey also played this game for KKR and scored 15.

RCB seemed favorites to win the game of KKR’s fast bowls had other ideas. In a pitch that offers enough help for the stites, the four quick kkr (Nathan Court -nile, Umesh Yadav, Chris Woakes and Grandhomme colin) dismantled the opposition for just 49

The domination of these four Quicks was such that no spinner was required. The RCB had high quality batters such as Kohli, Chris Gayle and AB of Villiers in his XI, but none of them could even reach the two -digit brand. In fact, none of the RCB’s baptisms reached the two -digit mark on this day.

Kohli was dismissed by a golden duck with Manish Pandey who struck the capture at the second sliding of Coulter-Nile bowling, which ended with 3-21 at three ends. Chris Woakes and Grandhomme colin also ended with three doctors each, while Umesh Yadav took the lonely wick.

Andy Flower’s mental games

Prior to this game, RCB’s main coach Andy Flower also tried to play some mental games while giving the press conference at the match. While answering a journalist’s question, Flower called her “bewildering” for KKR to come to RCB.

Both teams have played 34 games against IPL and KKR are ahead with 20 wins. RCB, meanwhile, has won 14 games so far and will try to close. The last time RCB defeated KKR was three years ago in 2022.
