Locals are using TikTok to collect donations for the victims of the Los Angeles fire

A group of street vendors have used social media to rally the community to help victims of the wildfires in Arcadia, California.

Jimmy Medina Jr. said the TikTok live stream helped him purchase the supplies he needed and spurred generous donations.

“Thanks to the power of TikTok, all of our TikTok viewers have been sending us donations… with their donations, we can purchase all the ingredients,” said Mr. Medina Jr.

A donation center is set up in the Santa Anita Park parking lot where volunteers help those in need
