Physical therapist and influencer Lizzie Kieffer is mourn the loss of her 12 -month -old daughter, Lily.
“We’ve broken down,” Kieffer wrote in Saturday, April 26, Instagram Post. “Wednesday we woke up for a nightmare that we could never have imagined to become a reality for us. Our lily died.”
“Our hearts, our bodies, our souls hurt about her as she was the purity of beings and brought light to every space she filled,” read the post. “Our days were written before we were even formed, and in 374 days of Lily’s life, he taught us more than I think much could in their lifetime.”
Kieffer, who is married to a husband MineHe noted that the family does not have “answers” and is uncertain why “this is God’s plan for our lives.” (The couple shares Mia’s daughter and revealed in March that they Expect their third child.)
“And we will never understand this mystery fully until we see it again one day,” he wrote. “What we know is that God is faithful and brings light to the darkest places. And we know that Lily is caught so tightly by Jesus and loved ones in heaven.
Kieffer – who rose to fame on social media for helping women with guided sessions for pregnancy, postpartum and beyond – explained that the family had “come to learn” that Lily had “Big Mass on her brain.” Kieffer noted that they could “have never known them because she had never shown signs.”

Kieffer noted that their loved ones were “holding us when we do not feel possible to move,” adding that the family is feeling the prayers and support.
“We feel the presence of God around our family and friends. And we ask you to continue to pray hard for our family as we shape this very difficult time,” he wrote. “We believe that God is here. We believe he will walk us through the impossible. We believe he will compensate. We believe he will take sliced pieces and form something stronger. It’s good.”
The message ended with a picture of Lily smiling at the camera while riding a tricycle inside a home.
“Lilybug, you are our angel. And we know you will always be with us,” read the post. “Dad, Mum, Mia and a new baby love you so damn and we miss you every second.”
He read the headline, “We are shattered. You taught us more in a year than most in their life can, Lily. We feel you with us. And we feel that your spirit is already in this new baby. You will always, always part of us always and although the hole will never be filled, speaking your name will never sing through our days.
“Keep our family deep in your prayers,” the headline ended. “We know they work and we feel them and the support. We appreciate it more than you know.”
