Trent Alexander-Arnold says that Liverpool fans have been an “incredible help”, as he started a new chapter in his career at Real Madrid today, and that he has made an immediate impression speaking Spanish fluent in his presentation.
The right side of England was affected several times after announced that he would leave Anfield when his contract expired at the end of last season, although Madrid ended up paying a 10 million pounds share to sign it before the Club World Cup.
It was an assaulted ending of what had been a nine-year trophy in Liverpool, and it is likely that Reds fans have been impressed by Alexander-Arnold’s new language skills.

After admitting that he had been learning Spanish for several months, “the 26 -year -old said he was sure he had managed his departure from Merseyside in the right way.
He said, “Everything I achieved with Liverpool has been incredible, it will never be forgotten. But I went out in a good way, I’m happy for the way I did it. I couldn’t say anything bad about fans. Everyone has been amazing, they’ve been a lot of support. It was a lot of help.
“The owners have thanked me for everything I did for the club and I am always welcome. They said that everything that is incredible. Now it is very exciting for me. It’s amazing and something that many players can experiment with.”
Alexander-Arnold, who would carry the 12 shirt, admitted that it was a key to leaving Liverpool and claims that the only club he would have considered stopped stopping Anfield was Madrid.
“I always knew it, I had long known that if I had to leave Liverpool for some time, it would be for Real Madrid,” he added.
“And then it reaches a point where you have to make a decision to go or stay -it was not easy, not to say, it had been so long and I was part of it, but finally you have to make a decision and I have done the right thing in my head and I am excited.”

Alexander-Arnold will have the opportunity to work under Xabi Alonso, who will direct Madrid for the first time in the United States Club World Cup, with the competition underway this weekend.
As a former Liverpool player, Alonso is considered a hero for Alexander-Arnold, who said: “I grew up a Liverpool fan, seeing in Istanbul (the 2005 Champions League victory over AC Milan) with the manager doing incredible things in the final.
“We talked a little and told him that it was a great idol of mine, so it is a dream come true.
“I greatly affected my game and influenced me to train -me more and have a great hunger to make it and establish standards.
“We have not yet formally met, in the coming weeks.
“It may take some time, but he has shown how surprising it is. His knowledge is in abundance and I will be a sponge around him.”
Another family side in Madrid for Alexander-Arnold is a friend and colleague of England, Jude Bellingham.
Despite his narrow bond, Alexander-Arnold denied the conversation that the former Borussia Dortmund man had influenced his decision to move to Santiago Bernabeu.
“We talked about Real Madrid,” he said. “It was not exactly what people thought, but it was Liverpool and Real Madrid and these are conversations that you have as players and friends. You want to know what it is like.
“Everyone asks questions about the national team about Madrid. To be honest, the club speaks for himself, is a huge opportunity for me.”
