Liverpool Complete Sign of Eintracht Frankfurt Hugo Ekitike Signature

The Liverpool has completed the signature of Hugo Ekitike, 23, by Eintracht Frankfurt for an initial share of £ 69 million, subject to international authorization.

Ekitike, Frankfurt’s top scorer last season, successfully completed a medical and agreed with personal terms with the Reds. He will fly to Hong Kong to join his new teammates on the preseason tour of Asia later this week.

It is believed that the agreement could end up to £ 79 million in accessories.

The arrival of the international U21 France pushes Liverpool’s expense over £ 250 million this summer. It becomes the last addition to Arne Slot’s workforce, following the tastes of Jeremie Frimpong, Milos Kerkez, Giorgi Mamardashvili and Florian Wirtz – who moved to Anfield for a possible British record £ 116 million.

“Hugo has greatly developed in his years and a half with us and has been a real asset for our team and the whole club both on the part and off the pitch,” said Frankfurt’s sports director Markus Krosche, after the player’s departure.

“We are happy to take the next step now: a step that has won through his performances with us.”

Ekitike found the 26 clean goals in 64 appearances for the German side and was named the Bundesliga team of the season for 2024/25.

He started his professional trip to France with Stade de Reims, before leaving 33 times for Paris Saint-Germain and claiming the League 1 winner medal.
