His wife received a seven -year sentence. The couple maintained their innocence and continued to appeal against their sentences, which were reduced in September 2023 nearly two years.

Before Todd and Julie’s legal woe, they sometimes faced a play with Lindsie. The family tension played out in the public eye, but Lindsie explained in May 2023 that it was on better terms with the pair.

“There were some rumors that went around after our last podcast chapter that the reason I haven’t seen Julie was because she doesn’t want to see me, and that’s just false,” he said at the time. “Finally, I’ve been able to communicate over (her prison) oe -post for the first time, but also his email is very delayed. Savannah addressed the situation during Instagram Q+A stories, claiming she told Lindsie not to come to a hearing to Todd and Julie because “she didn’t want” and their father “didn’t want her there and didn’t care to have a relationship with her.”
