Potomac real housewives‘S. Gizelle Bryant updates fans on Karen HugerLife in prison.
The Bravo Reality Star, 54, said on the Sunday issue, April 27, from Watch what happens live with Andy Cohen Karen, 61, thrives behind bars and is loved by her fellow prisoners and guards in prison where she has currently been jailed.
“I have been in touch with someone who is very close to her for her safety,” shared Gizelle with a host Andy Cohen. “From what I understand, they love her up where she is right now. They love her completely. They love the Grande Dame! And you know she runs that thing.”
“I feel very good at the fact that she’s safe,” said Gizelle, adding that Karen’s husband, Ray78, “still adapt” following Karen’s imprisonment.
In February was Karen sentence For two years in prison with a delayed year, which means she will be jailed for a year. She was ordered to report directly to police custody.
The sentencing came after a Bravo star, known as Potomac’s “Grand Dame”, was previously accused of DUI, I and drove without a car crash March 2024. She was found guilty on almost all charges – Except for the account of driving unhealthy – in December 2024.
“Although we are disappointed in the jury’s verdict, we of course respect their decision and appreciate their time hearing our case,” Huger’s lawyer, A. Scott Boldensaid in a statement to People at the time. “We continue to reserve Mrs. Huger’s right to an appeal and intend to fully pursue justice on her behalf. We appreciate your support and prayers for Mrs. Huger and her family at this time.”
In March, Gizelle reveal She hadn’t yet been in contact with Karen. “I’ve reached out to Ray. He keeps the ring that will contact Karen very tightly. At the moment, I’m not on it,” said Gizelle, 54, on the Siriusxm Cohen radio show. “But it’s open.”
Gizelle also revealed that all of the Rop A cast has rally around Ray as he deals with his wife’s imprisonment.
“All the girls have been very concerned about Ray,” shared Gizelle. “I told him, ‘We want to start sending you food on a weekly basis. We’re going to take turns.’ He said he was overwhelmed with food, no, thank you.
