The young South African Pistol, Lhuan-Dre Pretorius, has announced his style arrival with an impressive debut century on the 1st of the first ongoing test against Zimbabwe in the Queens Sports Club in Bulawayo. Pretorius is among the three debutants in the first test against Zimbabwe.

He is also one of the few Proteas players who broke a century in their test debut. Stephen Cook was the last man to get the same feat in 2016 against England. Pretorius is currently beating 120* of 134 balls, and has already reached seven limits and three six.

The number five sewed a collaboration of 95 runs with another debutant, Dewald Brevis, who also played a fire stroke of 51 balls of 41 balls, with three limits and four six. Before that, the young weapon added more than 30 stops with Wiaan Mulder (17) and Kyle Verreynne (10).
