Another teenager from Arsenal, Ethan Nwaneri, was also expected to be called, but he missed this time and was named in those under 21.
Arteta is sure that the time of Nwaneri will come, but he insisted that it was important for him and Lewis-Skelly to be allowed to move forward individually.
He added, “Any comparison there I don’t think it’s correct. I think they have a very similar way because they obviously played so many years together, but after they will have different times and each race will be unique and individual for them and they will have to win -what is done will not reflect or affect the other in a positive or negative way, so that it must be completely independent.
“It’s fantastic, it’s a luxury to have someone to spend so long, trust and love your trip on this trip, use it this way, it is and the rest is a way away.”

Much individual quality in this pitch, so it is about imposing what you want and the direction you want to take the game and keep them away from their strengths. I think it will also be a key thing.”
Arsenal won the corresponding equipment 5-0 last season, but Arteta does not expect to repeat.
“I think it will be a very different game,” he said. “I think the way they have developed as a team is also very impressive, what they have done to the technical staff, the amount of talent they have in the squad. So yes, a very hard game.”
